008. Maharaj throws the vessel into the well

It was the drought of Shaka year 1776. Maharaj was seated near a large well when a marwadi man after washing his hands and feet, with a heavy vessel filled with water, presented himself before Maharaj hoping to receive his darshan.

After the darshan, when he was returning, Maharaj called him back. He took the vessel from his hands, poured out the water, and then flung the vessel into the well which was twenty-five to thirty feet away. 

Everyone thought that the heavy vessel would surely hit someone and cause a serious head injury, as there were around fifty to sixty people inside and around the well filling up their fill of water.

Maharaj's leela can neither be understood nor explained! The vessel fell right in the middle of the gathered crowd without touching anyone. Everyone was surprised.
