Once, when Maharaj was at Mangalvedha, he went to a Brahmin's home and asked him to serve Him dashmi to eat. The Brahmin said to Maharaj, "I have a cow but she does not yield any milk."
On hearing this, Maharaj went to where the cow was tied and said, "Lady, this Brahmin is a family man. Continue giving milk!"
Maharaj then turned to the Brahmin and said, "Milk her today and prepare dashmi and keep for me. I will come in the evening!" The Brahmin complied with Samarth's instruction and milked the cow and prepared dashmi for Maharaj, which He came and ate in the evening.
The Brahmin then greatly prospered.
